Each is anxiously awaiting his name to be called for the long walk across the stage to receive his diploma. This occasion marks the end of so many things - good times with classmates, ball games and pep rallies, Prom and Homecomings, classes and teachers - an entire era of their lives. They sing the alma mater for the last time together, turn their rings around, and Shrow over their tassles. Over the week of July 88- August 1, 1980, Mr. Melvin Daniel took SO PFA boys to Camp Couchdale for a week of competition between various FFA chapters from around the state. They comi)eted and placed in the top two of not only baseball, volleyball, and horseshoes, but also in swimming events, tennis, ping-pong, wrestling, and row boat races.
