Adelaid (Tad) Thompson The main dish lady lends a hand with the mop. All food for these meals is prepared in our own kitchen. No packaged mixes or prepared foods of any kind are used to prepare our lunches. Mrs. Rademacher said all our cafeteria workers have children in Fairfax County Schools, enjoy being around students and enjoy cooking very much. She added that she and her staff have a strong interest in making the Lake Braddock Cafeteria the best in the county. She also said (which we found hard to believe) our students here at Lake Braddock have been very good about keeping the cafe¬ teria clean. Mrs. Rademacher said she wanted to thank the student body for the pride they have taken in their cafeteria. One of the innovations at the Lake Braddock Cafeteria is the cari-all plastic tray. These eliminate the use of the permanent type of dinnerware which had a high loss rate and an accompanying cost of installing and maintaining a dishwasher. Another innovation is the pot washing machine which only Lake Braddock and Chantilly have and which eliminates the hand-washing of pots in each department. Shirley Meachem makes up a spring salad.
