The 1973 Lair was printed in offset lithography, by the American Yearbook Company, State College, Penn¬ sylvania. The cover of the book was designed by members of the staff. It represents Lake Braddock’s theme for its first year, “The Birth of the Bruins.” The type style is News Gothic and the paper stock is 80 pound matte text and 80 pound slate brown text. The success of the Lair was due to the help of many people who devoted endless hours to it. The staff would like to thank them. A special thanks to the following people: Ms. Barbara Brant for putting up with us here at home and at Charlottesville. Ms. Joni Dimm for turning our ideas into a cover. Ms. Susan Leidemer for the art section of the book. Mr. Daniel Webster for the outstanding faculty candids. Mr. Bill McIntyre for rushing our prints oack to us. Ms. Hill for canvassing the area for ads. Ms. Rubino for the mountains of typing she did which we needed so desperately. Ms. Oliver for the “dictionary” pages. Mr. Nygard for taking outstanding underclass pictures. And last but not least our two advisors, Mr. Derr and Mr. Shoun, who patiently sat with us every afternoon for the last six months.
