The Keyettes purpose is to serve our school and community. So far this year our Keyettes have sponsored a soc hop, car wash, bake sale, clean-up stadium, and canned food drive. They’ve also sponsored Daisy Day and Gum- mie Bear Day. The Keyettes are always working on something! Though F.H.A. is usually associat¬ ed with cooking and such, this group of active girls have; Sold candles for Muscular Distrophy, sponsored a Head-Start party for pre-schoolers, and treated their dads to “pizza and bowling’’. And don’t forget those delicious cara¬ mel apples they sold at the begin¬ ning of the year. Forensics league The Forensics Lea¬ gue is sponsored by Ms. Clarke and their president is Jack Sesler. Their pur¬ pose is to encourage self-confidence and to promote effective speaking. The Key Club has so far helped at the Par¬ ents’ back-to-school” night and has been assisting at basketball games and wrestling matches. They have also collected money fortheanimal shelter. The Rifle Club is not a sport this year because they were not able to start the Rifle Team before school began. The shooting they are doing this year will help them in their competition next year.
