The purpose of the Latin Club is to familiarize students with the everyday life and customs of the Greeks and Romans and to pre¬ pare students for trips to Italy and Greece. The Latin Club is in good standing with the Junior Classical League. Some of the members will be accompanying Mr. Sipe to Italy for a ten to twelve day tour of the ancient Roman ruins. The purpose of the Science Fic¬ tion Club is to read and discuss various science fiction works. They also keep up on science fic¬ tion news in the media centers.
