Boys ' Football Starting a new school has its advantages: The enthusiasm of the athletes, faculty and community and the opportunity to set the tone” of the program. !t also has its problems: In¬ complete facilities and uniting groups from different schools into one team. One of the main goals is to give a lot of young men the chance to play football. We ended the season with 165 football players. Another goal is to prepare for a success¬ ful entry into the super district in 1975, and our improve¬ ment as the season progressed indicates that we are moving toward that goal. The enthusiasm and desire to improve that our players de¬ monstrated, made coaching a genuine pleasure. I would like to add a special thanks to our assistant football coaches for their hard work and genuine interest in the Lake Brad- dock student athlete. Coach Rich Lewis Girls’ Tennis Starting a new team in a new school has both advantages and disadvan¬ tages. Not having tennis courts was a big disadvantage but because of the enthusiasm of the athletes and the help of the community we were able to overcome this and have a good sea¬ son. My goals as coach were to build a team for the coming years and to give the students who were willing to work an opportunity to be a member of a team representing Lake Braddock. I feel that both of these goals were accomplished. Coach Kay Norton 138 sports
