BOB ROBINSON RICH TOON CLARK WALKER Wilson Attempts a Pass. CECIL WETSEL Marshall 26-13 La Sierra entered this their last game with high hopes of dethroning the undefeated Wildcats. Unfortunately the power of the Marshall team was too much for the Long- horns. The Longhorn junior team got a good tryout with Wilson quarterbacking for awhile. The defeat climaxed a rather unsuccessful season, win wise, but it was rather a surprise to some people when they saw how well the Longhorns did, considering their inexperience. The fact remains that the Longhorns will be a tremendous threat next year. Good Luck! 194 JERRY WILSON

La Sierra 32 San Juan 6 As the Sacramento Bee was later to comment, this was the grid upset of the year. That statement, refer- ring to the Spartan’s defeat by La Sierra, was one of the most truthful to ever grace the pages of the afore- mentioned journal. In this game we could do no wrong. Pagenkoph intercepted two passes, running one back all the way, and threw another TD to Brown to tally again. Hayden made a tremendous 70 yard dash after powering his way through 3 would-be tacklers. All around, this was one of the greatest games played by a Longhorn team. BOB RII.EY DAN RAMSEIER
