The Freshman team ended their season with a win Roseville 6 Nevada Union 2 6 over El Dorado High School. Many of these freshmen had never played tackle El Camino - 5 0 Folsom .13 0 football before, but, they responded well to the fine coaching of Coach Heberer, and to the constant drill and practice they put in. Led by Gary Baker, the Lambert brothers, Keith McKern, and Charles Eggleston, the thinclads compiled an outstanding record. In dual competition the C team was victorious in all league meets. The team of McKern, Eggleston, Lambert, Bianchi, and Taylor placed second in a sectional meet at Oroville. Gary Baker set a league record for a 2.1 mile Coach course. 207
