Getting to Know You? September 9, 1957 we 36 eager f??j and inquisitive U lj Fresh- men stood on the steps of KUHS, shaking in our shoes, wondering if we would ever get to know you. While we were wondering what everyone was like, we found that a freshman initiation would soon be held. Down the halls we clomped, with sacks of tin cans on our backs and KUHS written in lipstick all over our faces. fwe got to know you rhenlj After eating the Mustang flesh Qughj, and drinking the blood Qnot quite as bady, we became a part of the Mustang herd. When Homecoming rolled around, the freshmen got busy and made a float. It won second place! Our sponsor for the year was Mr. G. Chesher.
