Oh Happy Daym Oh Happy Day, yes, there were many happy days for the 27 Sophomores of the school year of 1957-58. Our sponsor was Mr. GIBHI1 Channell. One of our happy days was initiating 33 freshmen. Onions, Lim- burger cheese, tin cans, and other little freshmen necessities were seen in the halls of KUHS. At the sotmd of a whistle, little freshmen would fall on their knees exclaiming in a meek but husky voice, Hail to the sophomores, beat Hayden! In the afternoon each of the freshmen had a stunt to perform, then bravely swallowed the Mustang flesh and blood. At Homecoming our float was a large dog house to lock the Carbondale Bulldogs in. We received first prize, Oh Happy Day. Our last project was our Sophomore Shuffle with the theme White Christmas. These were the Happy Days remembered by the Sophomore Class.
