The Seniors Good things always come to an end. Thus we, the Mighty Seniors of 1960. climaxing four beautiful and memorable years of high school gradu- ated from Konawaena High School on August 19, 1960. Though leaving our dear Alma Mater, we will never forget those days of fun and sorrow shared together. These memories will abide with us forever, no matter how or where our individual paths lead us. As we first entered our last four years of schooling, we were unaware of the many difficulties to befall us. But every year, we, through cooperation and hard work, were able to achieve the gifts of successfulness. Many times we were dubious, many times we had problems., but there stood our wonderful advisors whenever we needed them. VVe are very grateful to them. VVe have anticipated and enioyed many activities together as a group. Our Class Day, Class picnics, the issuing of the Class Papers, Senior Banquet, and those dreamy nights of our own dances, An Affair to Remember, I'll Remember Tonight, and our finale, A Many Splendored Thing. To guide us in learning and achievement, we chose the theme Knowl- edge Through Education is the Password to Success. VVe also recognize the colors black and white as our own. The spirit of our Class always remained true-lt always did and always will. Now as we bid farewell to Konavvaena we anticipate opportunities to ex- ercise our foremost individual abilities to make our world a better place to live in. We stood and sung together for the last time on August 19, 1960. A few l 1 1 and some indifferent, but each and everyone of of us were iappy, ot iers sat , us realized that the occasion was the climax of our youthful days and that tomorrow we would face the future as adults of the world.
