KH5 F.F.A. Boys Bring Home the Bacon lor was it Lamb Chops or Beefsteak?l Their first public appearance was at the County Fat Stock Show held in Wewoka. Here the team, Eugene Berry, Clifton Summers, Ray Sharp, won first with highest honors go- ing to Eugene Berry. Mr. Gunn's boys practically stole the show--winning more than ninety percent of the prize money. In the Southeast Distreict Stock Show held in Ada, Kona- wa's team,again was the highest ranking team, having the most prize money. Such an excellent record did the team make in the South- eastern District, that the Ada Chamber of Commerce invited them with sponsor, Mr. Gunn, and Mr. Tharpe to a banquet. From Ada, the F. F. A. boys next went to Tulsa. Here the Judging team placed first, and at the F. F. A. banquet was awarded the second cup of the season. Konawa F. F. A. Chapter members. Class A Horticulture team lst at Stillwater Interscholastic '37. F. F. A. Officers Clifton Summers and his prize corn. 4th Peace Poultry Judging team at Maud. Dairy Judging team 4th at Norman. gem Gunns' champion Angus calf at Wewoka, Ada and 3rd class at u sa. 3rd place Terracing team at Tulsa and Oklahoma City State Fairs. President Fox grows prize corn. Outstanding Vocational Agriculture boy '57. Livestock Judging team lst Wewoka, lst Ada, lst Muskogee, lst Tulsa and 4th at Oklahoma City. Dairy Judging team at Dairy Judging school, Stillwater. Ralph Sharp and his cotton project.
