THE FACULTY Outstanding among the changes in the departments during the past year was the lnstallation of Miss Beatrice Koch in the capacity of assistant muslc supervisor The demand for musical instruction increased to such an extent that Mr Caylor with his grade school lnstruction was unable to handle the Work Miss Koch aided in all branches of musical instruction in the high school At the beginning of the spring semester Mr Burge Emmert the social science department and Mr Keisling instructed several mathematics classes Miss Thomas of the mathematics depart ment taught three classes 1n bookkeeping during the past semester Miss Esther Pearson was with us all year having taken Mr Maurice Tomlinsons place 1n the social science department at the beginning of the fall term Miss Margaret Laughlin was our new instructor in the Latin department and Mr George Hartman and Mr Alfred Smith in the vocational department 2 4 .HQ lil Y UI W ' tip 9 1 ls - Kiel 9 , S 3' of Indiana University assumed Mr. Lloyd Keisling's classes in I s 1 1 . , W ll I 'fr E an E in goj E

Service and efficiency is his slogan. He has endeared himself to the students throughout the grades and high school. Mr. Hin- shaw, the man with whom we are all acquainted, has been with us since 1915. Mr. Hinshaw has a 3 personality that we all admire and a judgment that :, we respect.
