Sept. 8-School begins. The hall walls are plastered with Freshies. Sept. 9-Mr. McCarty is so popular he has to hold class in the auditorium. as there were only 51 in the class. Sept. IO-lt is announced that school will let out at 3:15 for the remainder of the week. Somebody's heart softened. Sept. 1liThese high school cases are awful. Sept. 15-Monday-All fellows who had dates Sunday evening sleep in the as- sembly. Sept. 16-First Senior class meeting. Francis Dawson is elected president. Here- after it will be proper and fitting that he he addressed as Hon. Francis A. Dawson. Sept. 17-An ad appears on the board, Girls wishing lessons in dishwashing see Lucille Smith. Sept. 18-Mr. XVoody delivers a sermon to the Sth period assembly in 200 on the subject, XVasted Timef' Sept. 19-Senior 'Wiener Roast postponed on account of the rain. Harry lYerbe is brokenhearted. Sept. 22-Paul XVolford. from Amboy, enters school. XYe, especially the girls, are glad to have you, Paul. Sept. 23-Ko Hi girls give lunclieouette in the gym to welcome Freshie girls. Sept. 2-l-Freshmen hold class meeting and elect officers. Sept. 25-Eighth period convocation, XY. H. Stout delivers a fine talk. Sept. 26-Seniors have their XViener Roast at Dorothy Odom's.
