Administrators worked and planned together No one knew that K ofans were Forever on the Move better than Mr. Willard Canode and Mr. Harold Elliott. lt was their job to direct youthful spirits and ener- gies in the right direction-to encourage those who felt left behind and even occasionally to restrain those exuberant students headed in the wrong direction. As representative of the school board and s u p e rin tenden t of Yuma High School District, Mr. Canode carried out the duties and responsibilities delegated to him by the board and the law of the state of Arizona. Some of the things which required much of his time were curriculum changes, building and ground improve- ments and transportation. Principal Harold Elliott was responsible for the efficient run- ning of Kofa High School.
