JUNIOR BAND The ,lunior Band composed of 25 members was organized this year under the direction of Nlr. joseph Nlorse. This was the first time that the young students of this group had taken lessons on instruments. Practices were held on Monday, Vkednesday and Fri- day at 12:20 in the Shop with some of the Senior Band mem- bers. Senior band members recog- nize the progress of junior band members who are now playing selections from the Top Flight band book. TWIRLERS lVhat adds a touch of the dra- matic to our band concerts, pep rallies and Memorial Day pa- rade? XYhy the twirlers, of ma- course. VVith three Senior -iorettes, Vivian Fulton fDrum Klajorettel, Shirley Hewlett and a new member, Pearl Hutt, they plan to march and twirl at the Spring Concert and Dedication. 'lihey have greatly missed Shir- ley while she was ill. lfight juniors twirlers are busy learning the art, and hope to add new routines as well as perfect our old ones. BEGINNERS TAP Each week finds members of beginners' tap class, under Nlr. Kings direction, practicing their routines.
