t t ,numwaref nwnfezegwzzzy Waving the Eagles to victory was the 1983-84 flag and rifle corps. Members practiced every day beginning in August, continuing all through the football season. They worked together to coordinate routines to perform along side the band during football games. On November 5, at Alief Elisk Stadium, the Golden Eagle marching band along with the flag and rifle corps received a first division rating at the U.I.L. marching contest.
