Instructor Sheila Cunningham has given many such students a chance to gain district-wide recognition as analy- tical scholars. The club accepts new members all the time, Cunningham stated. This year, in order to change the concept of the club, it has undergone a name addition to A Chapter Of the National Forensic League. The NFL Chapter participates on local, district, state, and national levels. Club officers include Doni Wilson, president, and Lisa Bailie, vice president. Bernie McNamee is the club's treasurer, Elizabeth Armstrong is secretary and Scotty Kirkwood is historian. The KF-NFL chapter has been recognized by many because of its vast amount of accomplishments. Early in competition this year, the department took second place sweepstakes at the Westchester Tournament, which in- J, lylfrlflt If 'iff ,'t' llwx Ai w a. ,., gawk' ffjlifffsfaif, vQffff.3fffffff f 'tg v V 1 L, 'lil A All .IZ ' . volved some 40 schools. The Spring Tournament and Bellaire Tournament found the club taking second and fifth place sweepstakes trophies. The Klein Tournament proved to be successful also with a first place in sweeps , Finishing up competition at Memorial the squad brought home another first in Debate Sweeps.
