Skills that would enable a student to do well in journalism would be typing ability, and a good working knowledge of English usage. Dawn Perry, a I-1 student says of the course, Iournalism is a worthwhile class to a person who is considering a profession in the media because we learn a great deal of relevant facts and practical working knowledge of the newspaper industry.
