HOUR POWER You're in English class. Suddenly, the phone rings. After a brief con- versation, your teacher turns around and meets you eye to eye: Mr. Bell's office. After class. The rest of the class yells snagged and you slink out of the room at the end of the period. Being sent to your dean is always an unpleasant experience, but nec- essary for the system to function well. They can be lenient to first time offenders, but after that, you can al- most expect a few hours from a visit to the dean. Deans: C. Bell, A. Brett. THE GUIDING LIGHT . . . As our world turns into a broad, unexplored universe after gradua- tion, we are able to greet it with some knowledge of What to expect, thanks to the guidance department. They help us plot our way for life after high school With tons of in- formation on colleges, vocational schools, and scholarships. They also organize our way through Kingston High, setting up schedules, getting us through SAT's, and, overall help- ing us plan the days of our lives. Guidance Department: R. Boening, I. Chupczy, A. Donovan, M. Er- ickson, H. Mahood, A. Maneen, H. Norman.

THE TOPGUN.H One of the toughest jobs in the school is held by Mr. Ioeseph Bonita. As principal, it is his responsibility to represent the school. His every word and action should be the personification of the school itself in the public eye. The job of principal is a very tough task, but Mr. Bonita manages. Principal: Joseph S. Bonita. aJHSHEAD HONCHO As Vice Principal at Kingston High School, we can all be proud of the fine job Mr. Douglas Goodemote is doing. On any given day you can find him about on F campus, mixing with the student body, maintaining peace. Over the years he has gained the trust and support of the students; he is seen as an authoritative figure, but also as a friend, someone Who will listen in a time of need. We are fortunate to have him; he fills the re- quirements of the job, yet does so much more. Vice Principal: Douglas A. Goodemote.

TO BE EXCUSED ORNOTTOBE... Attendance: The word describes it all. The job of these four people is to know the whereabouts of close to 2,000 people every day. They have to keep track of who was absent and who will be, who got in late, Who's skipping classes, and who gets ex- cused When. On top of that they must distinguish forged excuses from the real McCoy. It's c1 tough job, but somebody's gotta do it. Attendance Staff: L. Bertone, M. Espey, V. Loughlin, M. Ri- enzo. . . . 8t THEY'RE STILL NOT SICK OF THEIR IOBS! The Medical Office sees KHS stu- dents at their worst; complaints all day, kids trying to get out of classes, folks who really are sick, and, on top of it all, physicals for everyone in the whole school. Despite all this, they constantly maintain a professional yet caring attitude. Medical Office: H. Berrycmn, P. Brogan, R. Hoveman, M. Post.
