lofi -2:-A HOWARD BOWMAN Tragedy caused a carefree happy group of high school sophomores to become grave and sombre. Within a period of three short months two of our classmates, our friends, were gone. The Almighty Creator whose deeds we must never question had allowed the black shadow of death to fall on William Iones and Howard Bowman. We shall never forget their radiant personalities, their genuine friendliness, and the true school spirit they dis- played. We shall always remember the amusing quips Billy made about his great love, automobiles which he affectionately called hot rods . We shall always picture Howard running his laps around the school while in train- ing for the track season. Both boys, very much interested in music, were members of our band. Billy and Howard, each in his own way, contributed much toward giving our school the fine reputation that it has. It is to them that we, the class of 1955, dedicate our year book. Though the pages of this book may someday become worn and faded, there will live forever in our hearts pleasant and vivid memories of Howard and Billy, as two boys who were really worth knowing. To their parents we offer our deepest condolence and although we know that their wounds can never completely heal, we ask them to HTrust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not upon their own understanding. bedication In Memoriam em6erA of the C7444 0 1955 WILLIAM JONES
