Youth is ever free and sparkling, Bright and always glad: Never seeing shadows darkening, Bearing omens sad. Future views cannot be dreary, Spectres grim and dire, Youth is blithsome, never weary, Hearts of youth afire. We shall then in years hereafter, From high school long gone. Hear the cheerfulness and laughter, As we sit alone, Thinking over youthful pleasures, Youthful conquests won, Memories to each a treasure, Days in old Kingston. H 1 L gl A g ,.,,,...w-av-my

To Mr. Iohn B. Kennedy, Superintendent of the Kingston Schools, goes our deepest thanks and appreciation for a job well done. We fully realize the great responsibility which he has shouldered in regard to his position. Only a man with such a pleasant personality, friendly manner and great ability could so successfully strive for the betterment of our schools. MR. JOHN B. KENNEDY With deepest sincerity, the Class of '53 wishes to extend a message of gratitude to our School Board members. These men, though engaged in their own enterprises, have devoted much time and effort in portray- ing their roles of the supporting cast. Their patience and consideration have contributed greatly to the success of our productions. To those of us who have become acquainted with these individuals, we know them to be willing to aid us in any possible way.
