'lihc committees consider the business submitted to them and report their delib- erations with recommendations at later Board meetings. 'lhe Board acts on these reports at its meetings. held in the evening of' the second ivlonday of each month at the lligh School Our Superintendent of Schools. lXlr. Bela ll. Smith. has been with us for three years and has proven himself' a capable executive, He has had many years of experience in the adminis- tration of' schools. l lis broad, good-natured smile and friendly manner have won him thc esteem and friendship of both students and teachers. Without a doubt he is as well liked here as he was in Cfonnellsville, where he achieved a state-wide reputation as a capable superintendent. By virtue of hard worlt, Nlr, P. .X Colden has risen lo the post of' lligh School Principal. 'l'his able man commands the respect of everyone. Though insisting on a well-disciplined and orderly student body, he has always shown Himself' appreci- ative of the desires of the stud- ents. He is a friend of the teachers as well as students, having been a teacher himself' for many years, hir. Holden is ltnovvn for his fairness and for his honest endeavors to build Kingston lligh School into an ever finer institution.
