l V Sandie I-Iannula gets practice in taking dictation. Practical Education prepares the commercial student. New rooms and attractive furnishings provide learning opportunities in household organization. Family Living prepares for problems of invest- ment possibilities, insurance, parenthood, child development and budget planning. To answer the need of the commercial stu- dent, training is offered in the use of office machines. Also the opportunity is given to gain skills and knowledge in the area of home eco- nomics, so useful in the business world. Stu- dents are taught the two basic requirements of a business society - writing letters of application and preparing for job interviews. Likewise, Driver's Training attempts to pro-A duce a majority of safe, alert drivers who 'prac- tice the art of defensive driving. Combined, this education prepares its students to become successful members of society. Mr. Person instructs Cheryl Jones on the operation of the new calculator.
