The answer, which lies in the number of chromosomes in the body cells, proves again the connection between mathematics and science. Delving into the magical world of figures, angles, and equations, Kingsford students gain a broad mathematical background ranging from General Math to Senior Math or Advanced Algebra, and including Alge- bra and Geometry. Complementing the math courses, Kingsford's Science Department presents the opportunity to study biological chemical and physical sciences. Students of physical science 'gain general knowledge of theearth and its make-up, while chemistry students study matters, energy, and the effects of their physical and chemical changes. General and Advanced Biol- ogy courses include material covering the study of life from the unicellular amoeba and lower plants, to the multi-cellular human.
