French Ill class in language lab. - Languages strengthen international understanding The Bible tells the story of a people who attempted to build a mighty tower to heaven. In anger at this act, God destroyed this Tower of Babel and scattered the people over the earth. To each I-Ie gave a different tongue so that they could not understand each other. Today humanity is attempting to overcome the language barrier and thereby, inunity, eliminate conflicts due to misunderstanding. This is done through the learning of foreign languages and mastering of expression in one's native tongue.- Teachers use the library to prepare lessons and exchange ideas.
