GRAMMAR SCHQQL DAYS were fading memories when on the 23rd of September, we Freshmen, one hundred strong, entered Kingsburg l-'ligh With many new customs with which to become acquainted, and with many new faces with which to become familiar, it was a day of excitement and bewilderment. Everyone made us feel welcome. We were entertained with a program, games and refrsh- ments at the Senior-Freshman Receptiong and the Girls of Service gave a party for the new girls, Although we lost the Freshman-Sophomore Brawl-fall but the tug ol warwwe had the time of our lives Our own class parties were held in November and May, the first featuring garries and a pro- gram in the high school gym, and the second an outdoor picnic. We also did our share of entertaining ln May the Freshmen and Sophomores gave an assembly in the auditorium, successfully keeping the audience in stitches of laughter. All in all we have enjoyed our first year at Kingsburg I-ligh and are sorry to see it end.
