.. Seniors! Exhibiting leadership, the Senior Class of ‘81 has set examples for the underclass- men at KMSHS to follow. They have cheered our teams on through defeats and victories. Their spirit and enthusiasm have caught on at pep rallies and enliv- ened the student body. This fun-filled, busy year included the his- toric Bicentennial celebration of the Battle of Kings Mountain in which students were actively involved. The Homecoming Pa- rade became part of a mammoth Bicen- tennial Parade on a memorable holiday for everyone, October 7. The usual worries about college appli- cations, SAT scores, exams, report cards, Class rank are now in the past. Friends will soon go their various ways-some to col- lege, some to jobs, some to military ser- vice, leaving behind high school memories of football games, dates, proms, club meetings, and other activities that have made KMSHS a cherished part of their lives. Most class members have already made decisions about their goals in life. With a show of maturity, they are ready now to take the next step that will lead them to these goals.
