Coming to football games wearing shorts when everybody else is freezing. Screaming and jumping up and down when the team wins; letting the tears of disap- pointment flow freely when they lose. Trying to understand what’s going on at a wrestling match. Getting lost on the way to a basketball game at South Point and finally getting there just as the game is ending. Going to a baseball game and groaning as somebody hits into a double play. Watching the boys’ tennis team freeze during a February match. Being a Mountie! SPIRIT

Finding out that the good-looking guy you’ve been in love with for three years is your Biology II partner. Missing all of your friends who graduated last year, but making lots of new friends in the sopho- more class. Young love as you discover that the sophomore who had a crush on you last year grew up over the summer. Finding out that the teacher you thought was such a pain last year is really a terrific person. And learning that your friends are the best thing going at KMSHS. FRIENDSHIP
