Steve Ford Visits School. . . Steve Ford addresses approximately 600 stu- dents in the Kingman High School gymnasium. Ford urged students to get involved in politics. RIGHT: Highway 66 is the main-street of Kingman. The elections played a big part in community affairs. For the first time, a member of the President's family came to Kingman. Steve Ford, son of Presi- dent Gerald R. Ford, came to Kingman, campaigning for his father. The County Fair provides fun and entertainment each year. Touring ghost towns around Kingman is also a favorite pastime. The city government is forever reaching to improve the life of Kingman citizens. The county fair is almost always a source of fun for Kingman citizens. 8

Girls Win State Championship The highlight of the sports year was the Girls' Track team winning the State Championship.
