As Freshmen, we were led by Kelly Moriarty-President, Michelle Michalik- Vice President. Lynette Roche-Secretary, and Brian Blinco-Treasurer. Our advisor was Mr. Berteletti. Our homecoming float was extremely good, considering it was our first float ever. Our slogan was After the toil, the Hornets will boil. We played the Mansfield Hornets, To increase our small, but humble treasury. we had a carnation sale and a dance. Cn April 29, l983. we had our Freshman-Sophomore Semi-formal, Just You and l , at the Coachman's Lodge in Bellingham. Diane Carew and Stacy Signore represented our class as princesses in the court. As Sophomores. we played a more important role in the school. With Mr. McEachern as our advisor and under the leadership of Nick Tobichuk-President. and Roy Nelson-Vice President, Michelle Reid-Secretary. and Frank Platt-Treasurer, we built a winning floatl Our masterpiece was built in Diane Carew's garage with the slogan Warriors Pride Will Toss Eagles Aside. To add to our greatly increased treasury, we sold cloth calendars, We also had a carnation sale and sponsored the first dance of the year. In spite of the unexpected snow storm, The Freshman-Sophomore Semi-formal was held at the Coachman's Lodge in Bellingham on March 30, l984. The theme was Dance the Night Away. Brandi Slattery was crowned queen while Ann Backlund and Elizabeth Lynch were voted princesses. As juniors, the Class of 86 started to create the reputation for which it is now famous. Mr. McEachern stayed on as our advisor. The class officers for the i984-85 school year were Nick Tobichuk-President, Michelle Reid-Vice President, Cathy Conaty-Secretary. and Diane Carew-Treasurer. Once again we used Diane's garage to build the float with the slogan Rocketeers Come to Town. Warriors will Touch Them Down. For our fundraisers. we sold assorted Christmas gifts and sponsored the Christmas dance where our President played Santa Claus. The Junior-Senior Prom was held on April 26, l985, at the Sheraton-Tara in Framingham. The theme for the evening was Tender Years. Nancy Daniels and Kerry-Lynn Kearns were chosen as princesses in the court. By September of l985, the Class of l986 had finally made it to its Senior Yearl With Nick Tobichuk as President, Michelle Reid as Vice Presi- dent, Andrea Flynn as Secretary, and Diane Carew as Treasurer. we had a Tupperware Sale in order to make our class trip less expensive, Mr. lngalls, our new advisor, played a large part in making these things possible. Diane's family once again let us use their garage from which the neighbor's often heard Jungle Love . The slogan for our float was Warriors Rage Will Put Tigers ln A Cage. For Homecoming, the Senior fall athletes chose Debbie Benson as queen and Amy Cosentino and Jane Sandberg as princesses. Our Senior Supper was held in December and in February, the Senior Class sponsored the Valentine's Day dance. On May l6, l986, the Junior'Senior Prom was held at the Best Western Royal Hotel. On May Sl, we received our diplomas, Always remember the friends we've made and the good times we've had together at King Philip, the Class of l986. -Michelle Reid 2 fix il A, l x 13' is is 4 fi S w X f , yin Ps.
