FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT Entertains Dallas All manners of activities are directed by the capable teachers in the Fine Arts department. Mr. Steve Bayless, as sponsor of the Knight Beats, the Kimball stage band, has continuously led them to high honors in the Brownwood Stage Band Festival. Miss Martha Hayes, a director of musicals, and Mr. Darrell Chambers, band di- rector, round out the music department. Mrs. Mary Curtis continues as speech, debate, and drama teacher to help her students Win honors in various tournaments. Miss Enna Rogers heads the art classes which create many needed articles for Kimball events. These teachers continue to bring recognition to Kim- ball from many places. HOMEMAKING DEPARTMENT Teaches the Basics or Success ul Living Homemaking not only teaches one to sew and to cook, but it also prepares those students who are interested in future careers as homemakers, Home- making is much more than just cooking or sew- ing. Students learn the importance of a successful home and family. Students are shown how influential homemak- ing is in our modern society and are instructed as to the significance of the homemaker.
