Any occasion, which is fortunate to have the Knight Beats, is truly a great occa- sion. With outstand- ing performers as Li- sa Pettijohn, Susan McGowan, Jim Cran- dle, Rod Tinsley, and Steve Hawkins, their appearance is always a big hit. One of the favorites is the med- ley, Sunny - Goin' Out of My Head, which was presented at a school assembly. D 232 Q Knight Beats perform for 1967 MEM Day assembly.

Justin F. Kimball's Orchestra, led by Mr. Steve Bay- less, is not only a symbol of talent, but also a symbol of success. Eight members of Kimball's Orchestra were selected to participate in the Dal-Hi Symphony on De- cember 9, 1967. As the result of this symphony, Kim- ball brought home two of the three possible scholar- ships. Lisa Pettijohn, in solo competition, and Martha shi . Xmong Kimball's activities, the musicals are the most time consuming for the orchestra. ln this year's musical. 'll-low To Succeed ln Business Without Really Tryingw, the orchestra worked in connection with the Concert Choir, choreographer. and Dance Club. Spe- cial assemblies throughout the year, including: Thanks- giving. Christmas. and Armistice Day. exhibit talents Ing, in string instrument competition, each received a H ' ii of the Kimball Orchestra. 55500.00 American Airlines Music Til Dawn Scholar- E Mr. Steve Bayless displays the directing technique which uidcd in the success of the Christmas program.
