Texas, America, England and the World make the stuff of his- tory for modern students. Social studies would not be complete without Civics and Economics. Knowledge of the American heri- tage of constitutional government is thus fostered, as well as the science of world affairs.

Industrial Arts courses develop talent and skill and lead to useful occupations and hobbies. Wood shop and metal shop train boys in fundamentals of handling tools and produce artistic objects. Basic principles of electrical wiring, etching, and repair provide training for future jobs and usefulness in the home. The study of precision drawing in mechanical drawing and in architec- tural design promote interest in many professions and trades.
