THE 1934 REFLECTOR IUNIORSENIOR PROM One of the major social features of the school year was the annual prom staged Friday evening, May 18, in the gymnasium, where the Seniors of '34 were hosts to the Junior Class. Tendrlls of climbing and swinging smilax intermingled with varlcolored balloons in the Junior and Senior class colors converted the gymnasium into a festive setting for the guests who arrived ln gorgeous frocks of pas- tel colorlngs. The program dance consisted of ten numbers with four promenades- serpentine, a balloon, a noise maker, and a swanky hat. Other dance numbers of the evening were free. The music was intoxicating , the refreshments were refreshing and a good time was had by all. MHOBGOBLIN HOUSE Senior Class Play Hobgoblin House, a three act mystery play, was presented April 27, in the Auditorium of Kilgore High School by the Senior class of 1934. ' SYNOPSIS OF THE PLAY: Aunt Priscilla is peeved because her two nieces have fallen ln love with two silly nlcompoopsf' She purchases the old Hobgood House in the foothills of the Ozarks where she plans a safe retreat where the girls shall not see their lovers for at least slx months on penalty of being dlslnherlted. Just as luck would have lt they arrived on the very night that old Bluebeard Bronson, who once committed a murder in the house, is sup- posed to revisit the scene of the crimes. Not till then does Miss Priscilla relent.
