With a year behind them, the sophomores became more involved with clubs, drama, speech, sports, and extracurricular activities. Mrs. Doris Garrison, counselor, felt the 1981-82 sophomore class was a good bunch of kids. Most of the students worked hard in their studies and nearly all of them participated in ex- tracurricular activities. Although they held a con- sistent third place in spirit points, the sophomores didn't lack in spirit. Paul Teel was perhaps the most spirited of all. Not only did he dress for many spirit occa- sions, but he also was elected for the second year in a row. I think a person who real- ly gets into spirit days has a lot going for them. lt means a lot to be active and wild and crazy. My main spirit is TIES. They mean a whole lot to me. Without ties, hats, or wild pants, l wouldn't be hap- py at all, said Paul Teel.
