Senior Choraliers 25 Glee Club 1, 25 Future Business Leaders of America 3, 45 Yearbook 4. SCHREFFLER, ROY Roy Roy is one of the newer members of our class, as he came to KHS in his junior year. Very shy and studious, Roy plans to continue his education next year by attend- ing college. Transfer 3. SHANAFELT, ARTHUR Hunch Art, although a transfer this year, has made his presence well known, especially on the senior class trip. His hobbies are hunting and drawing. After graduation, he'll have to cut his clowning to a minimum, as he will be going to the service. Transfer 45 Future Farmers of America 4. SHINGLEDECKER, MELANIE JANE Mel Mel'l is a very active senior. Being a varsity cheer- leader, she has helped inspire school spirit by making really catchy signs and posters. Melanie is also a pretty bright gal, but when she went trick-or-treating last fall, some of us wondered. SHROUP SUSAN si , Su e Teamed with Patti Best, Janice Stephens, or Eddi Clark, Susie can be found wherever there is mischief. Although this consumes most of her leisure time, she also enjoys music. With a natural talent for getting along with people, she would be a success as a beautician. Concert Choir 35 Choraliers 25 Madrigals 35 Glee Club 15 Intramurals 1, 2, 3, 45 Home Economics Club 3, 4. SLICKER, GEORGE George George claims that P.O.D. is his favorite class this year. He enjoys collecting records and playing golf in his leisure time. Although George says he has no definite plans after graduation, we all know that i'Uncle Sam will help him to decide. Glee Club 152. STEPHENS, JANICE RENAE Jannie Say mischief, and Janice will be there. Jannie,' is al- ways witty and gay, and we hope she will stay that way always. Sewing is one of her special interests. STEWART TIMOTHY MILO Tim', You can usually find Tim cruising around in his car looking at other cars. Since Tim wants to further his education, he plans to work and save his money next year. Mr. Wise's hair-raising experiments are still well-remembered by this senior. Glee Club 15 Newspaper 2,35 Stage Crew 2,3,45 Senior Class Play Crew 45 Tri-Class Play Crew 3,4. STILLER, DANIEL CHARLES Dan Dan is another one of those mischievous devils of the senior class. However, no one can remain mad at him for long when he flashes that winning smile. Dan was also a varsity football player, and plans to be a state policeman. Glee Club 1,25 Varsity K 3,45 Football 1,2,3,45 Junior Varsity Basketball 15 Intramurals 1,2,3,45 Yearbook 45 Stage Crew 45 Penny King 3. STUART, ROY PRESTON Herk Herk,' lists motorcycles as his main interest. This is made quite evident by his crash helmet and irridescent blue racing jacket. Also one of Keystone's great athletes, he played first string varsity football. Glee Club 15 Varsity K 2,3,45 Football 1,2,3,45 Intra- murals 1,25 Newspaper 2. TAYLOR, FRED Fred Running up the Washington Monument will always remain as one of Fred's most vivid memories. Fred also plans to remember the good teachers at KHS. Among his many hobbies are girls and cars. Concert Choir 3,45 Glee Club 1,25 Stage Crew 2,3,4. THOMAS, LORA LEE Lori This senior is a professional study-hall-skipper. Lori often finds herself in very unusual circumstances. Once, someone tried to iron her dress while she was wearing it. Next year Lori hopes to be working. HOMPSON, BARBARA Barb', Barb is a math-minded student who gets along well with people. She suffered a near catastrophe when, in Wash- ington, she misplaced, her glasses and couldn't see to find them. She plans to attend Clarion State College as a math major. Student Council 2,45 Glee Club 1,2,35 Intramurals 1,2,3,45 National Honor Society 3,45 Future Teachers of America 2,3,45 Yearbook 45 Clarion Seminar 4. I-IOMPSON, DAVID B. One of the tallest guys in the school, Dave is also one of those people who dislikes school rather heartily. Although he lives in Knox, Dave's most common habitat is his gray 'iChevy. Newspaper 2. RITTEN, MARY ELLEN Ellen Mary Ellen really enjoys going to Home Ec. class, but would really rather not go to P. O. D. One of her favorite pastimes is taking care of children. ARNER, CATHY EILEEN Cathy This trim blond has many varied interests. In fact, she often finds it necessary to skip study halls in order to provide more leisure time. VVe know she will go far as she plans to become an airline stewardess. Transfer 25 Glec Club 25 Intramurals 2,3,45 Future Busi- ness Leaders of America 3. AN GUILDER, FAYE LOUISE Squeak,' Being extremely active in Home Ec., Faye is the president of the Home Economics Club. She also finds time for dancing, horseback riding, and swimming. Dave WALNEY, FRANCES ANN Franny Collecting all sorts of stuffed animals is one of Franny's favorite hobbies. She also enjoys cooking, and has found Home Ec. to be her favorite class. WEAVER, JO ANNE Jo I-Iaving shaving cream smeared all over her face is one of Jo's most vivid memories. One of the little ones at Key- stone, she is known as being friendly, cute, and popular. She plans to enter the field of education. WEAVER, VERNA L. Verna Verna is a very active senior gal. She's always busy typing something, running it off on the ditto machine, or playing the piano with a masterful touch. She also finds time for conjuring up quite a bit of mischief. WETZEL, MARILYN KAY Marilyn W 51 Marilyn is very easily embarrassed5 therefore, she blushes quite often. This especially held true the day she fell off her chair in the cafeteria. In a few years we may see this friendly senior as an airline hostess. HITLING, SUSAN MARIE Sue Although shy and quiet, Sue is a great asset to our Home- making Department. A very talented seamstress, she makes most of her own clothes.
