aaa Z5 l22 juniors are completing the rigors for graduation next spring. During their third year in high school, the juniors strive for academic excellence in fields including chemistry, French, geometry, and English and in the business field, bookkeeping, short- hand, and typing. Students in the general course are taught the skills of homemaking and agriculture. Supplementing their scholastic program with various activities, the juniors participate in cheerleading, sports, music, and clubs. Juniors are also given a chance to participate in the tri-class play. A Mad Hatters theme correlated the junior class party. Held Friday, November 8, even the teachers wore festive headgear. A lunch followed relay games and a straw and ping pong game. A class meeting held in the auditorium initiated the junior card sale. Thursday, Octo- ber 3, information and samples were distributed for the campaign. Highlighting the junior year is the an- nual spring senior-junior prom. At a class meeting early in January a theme is selec- ted from the entries submitted and the work begins. After committees and chair- men are appointed, the juniors seek seclu- sion and begin to assemble materials. As the final days of preparation draw near, last-minute changes demand perfection. Guiding the junior class are Mr. Greer, Miss Wilshire, Mrs. Minich, and Mr. Lauf- fer.
