The blending of memories of school days with subsequent experiences can result in the discovery of basic truths that are eternal. The enrichment of your life depends upon the quantity and quality of these essential truths that you learn and practice. The Golden Rule, Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them is for everyone. Its universal application is the key to the solution of all human problems. Every person has a physical, mental, and spiritual potentiality that is not usually attained. Therefore, each one has an important mission to fulfill. The rights and liberties of Americans must be pre- served and extended. Consequently, personal right must be in harmony with the rights of all others, every civil right implies a civic duty, and our government must rest upon the consent of the governed. The greatness of a country depends upon its citizens. An enlightened nation guided by the Golden Rule and dedicated to high ideals will endure.
