Any girl in Keyport High School who participates in at least one after-school activity is eligible for membership in the Girls' Athletic Association. The skills and techniques of such sports as basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, and archery are taught under the supervision of the girls' gym teacher, Mrs. Johnson. Both an intramural and an interscholastic program are offered in most ofthe sports. Points are awarded for participation in games, practices, and meetings. A member receives her KH or numerals when she earns a given number of points. As a means of building up the treasury, the G.A.A. sponsors a dance.
