Kewanite Finished -- Kewanite Staff Done For VVe've had it!'l The chaos pictured above could easily be mistaken for the scene of a terrible battle for only the charred ruins of the late Kewmfzite staff re- main to bear testimony of the war against time. The Kewanite staffers pictured above are in the midst of thc alternating periods of uncontrollable hysteria and utter despair that is prevalent in yearbook staffs who are faced with deadlines that have expired Weeks before, and who have given up all hope of publishing a yearbook as an idle dream. From the maze of ideas, suggestions, and layouts the 1960 Kewanite has become a reality, with the pro- fessional assistance of Tichenor's Studios, Mr. Norman Semmelroth of Record Printing and Advertising Com- pany, and lVlr. Larry Wells of Capitol Engraving and Electrotype Company. In keeping with the theme of Dedicated to Achievement as Citizens and Students, we have em- phasized both world-wide achievements and achieve- ments in our world of KHS. We feel that this yearbook represents an achievement that will have a permanent place as the official record of our high school days. We sincerely hope that novv and in the years to come as you reminisce with your Kewanite, the mem- ories of the classes and teachers we complained of but loved, the excitement of football and basketball games, the memories of Prom and plays will come alive for you and transport you back to the year 1960. 129 Y To Those Who Have Sponsored This Book A 8' P Food Stores-V2 page A Cf W Drive Inn-V2 page Adams Appliances Albrecht Bros.
