School For Fufure New fo Kewanee l-ligh fhis year is Principal K. B. Beasley. l-lis aim has been fo mainfain and carry on fhe high ideals of Kewanee l-ligh. Mr. Beasley has made few changes fhis year. l-le has aimed fo help sfudenfs wifh fheir problems, buf has encouraged fhem fo make fheir own decisions. l-le has acfed as faculfy ad- viser fo fhe Sfudenf Council, where he has had frequenf conferences wifh indi- viduals and commiffees. l-lis firsf year af K.l-l.S. has shown an undersfanding of our problems and a desire fo improve Kewanee l-ligh. Mr. Beasley did his undergraduafe work af Shurfliff College and received his Masfers degree from Universify of Illinois. He was a high school principal before coming here. Miss Shirley Bloedorn is Mr. Beasley's secrefary. In fhe oufer office, she fakes care of absence and fardy slips and all of fhe office roufine. She, foo, shows an undersfanding of fhe sfudenfs' prob- lems. As dean of girls, Miss Dorofhy l-larrod keeps a record of all fhe girls in school. Miss l-larrod visifs fhe home of all incom- ing freshmen. She also advises girls con- cerning programs, parficularly iuniors, so fhaf fhey will have a sufficienf number of maiors and minors for graduafion, and helps girls wifh any of fheir problems.
