Nlr. Charles Bruner, Miss Adela Wesebaum. Administrotion Sets Keyg Mr. Bruner Guides School The administration sets the key by which our school lite is run. MR. CHARLES BRUNER. our Superintendent ot Schools, heads this department. Mr. Bruner, our superintendent tor a number ot years, has very capably guided the work ot our Kewanee public school system. Being an intelligent leader and a specialist in public education, he has promoted high standards in our schools. He is an enthusiastic worlcer in national detense and urges the schools to cooperate with all organizations along this line. Mr. Bruner received his M. A. trom the University ot lndiana. He has credit to- wards his Ph. D. degree at Chicago and Columbia. Mr. Bruner's ottice statt is headed by Miss Adela Wesebaum, his secretary, who lcnows and worlcs etticiently with every teacher in the system. Miss Laura Mae Lynn assisted her the tirst semester and Miss Elva Morrison the second. Eleven Principol Heods Studentsg Understonds Their Problems The principal ot Kewanee High School, MR. R. M. ROBINSON. has been outstand- ing in his leadership ot high school people. Whethier it is at assembly programs or per- sonal conterences, Mr. Robinson has a triendly, gentlemanly way ot associating with the students. H-e has charge ot all high school worlc and activities and advises the Student Council. His zeal here and in other extra- curricular activities is one ot Kewanee High School's most valuable assets. Students ap- preciate his personal interest in them. Mr. Robinson received his B. S. trom Beloit college and his M. A. trom Minne- sota. He has done graduate worlc at Wis- consin and the College ot the Pacitic. Our principal is ably assisted in the ottice by genial Miss Genevieve Saygh. Six years ot service gives Mr. Louis lvlitton third ranking place on the board. Rounding out his titth year on the board is lvlr. W. B. Russell. lvlr. Ered Porter is entering his third year, and the newest member is Daniel l-leinrich, completing his tirst year. This group meets once a month with lvlr. Charles Bruner, our superintendent ot schools. lvliss Adela Wesebaum is secretary tor the board. The Board ot Education is an elective body tunctioning under the School Laws ot the State ot lllinois, and is charged with the conduct ot the Kewanee Public Schools.
