B14 V129 Miss Elsie Stoutter Principal, and Adviser The Student Council, made up ot Student Body As- sociation otticers, class presidents, and representatives and the yell leader is the co-ordinating group between students and the administration. Beginning with the tirst of the year when they acted as a welcome committee for new students, they have been busy with proiects tor the school. They set up the Board ot Control a plan of audi- torium supervised by members ot that body. For this purpose they completed a seating chart for assemblies. The campus committee watches that the grounds are kept in neat order. The council adopted a school crest that appears in this book tor the tirst time and purchased a net to make a talse ceiling in the multi-service room tor dance decorating. George Selig, president, has been known for his triendly greeting to everyone in the corridors, especi- ally to new or visiting students. Laddie Taylor, vice-president, has been responsible tor housing for visiting teams.
