Tall Freshman Team Tied For Second The Freshman Basketball team started the season off red hot! They had.a good drive and although there was a slight slow down in the middle ofthe season, they ended very strong. This unusually tall team offered a lot of pro- mise for the coming years. Under the coaching of Mr. John Morris, the team usu- ally kept the game in control. The season ended with a 6-4 'league record and a tie for 2nd place. The most valuable player was David Nikitin and Davy Douglas was team captain. Mickey Wright was chosen as the most inspirational player and ended the season with 169 points. Howard Rowland had a very good rebounding record with 129 to his credit.
