The Library Club Mrs. Pearl Cochran formed a new club this year. It was the Library club. The club was formed to teach it's mem- bers the various uses of the library. The membership is made up of anyone who works in the library. This year, President Carol Nale planned a bake sale. The earnings were used for funding their trip to Reedley College. Photo Photo Club was sponsored by Mr. Jim Seay. He helped interested students to take better pictures with advanced cameras, techniques, and the basic ele- ments of developing. During the lunch hour on Thursdays, a slide show was presented on Advanced Photographyf' which was presented for the entire student body. During the second semester Photo Club presented 2 Photography awards spon- sored by the Kodak! Scholastic Photo Awards, and photography exhibits en- titled Impressions of Yosemite. The KodakfScholastic Photo Awards presented Exhibit 71. It consisted of 45 prize- winning prints selected by judges of the 1971 Scholastic Photography Awards, conducted by Scholastic Magazines Inc. and sponsored by Eastman Kodak Co.
