The baud participated in various annual activities including selling calendars in great hopes of some year buying new Lmiforms . They held their Spring and Christmas concerts and traveled to Washington Union for the Music Festival. But the highlight of the year was their trip to Berkeley that mixed business with pleasure . Patty Ellenberger had the honor of performing in the All State Band in Bakersfield, Ken Hurley performed with the Fresno-Madera honor band. Old 57 just wou1dn't go!
