Maj'0rettes G0tRained ut Rainy weather conditions only allowed the Lettercarriers and Maj orettes to display their talents twice at home football games this year, Of four home games they managed to per- form at Homecoming and at the final game of the season. They also went with the Band to Berkeley and participated in the Kerman Harvest Festival Parade. The Lettercarriers found a way to pay for their uniforms by having a bake sale. They played two roles by presenting the flags before the game as well as spelling out Kerman at half time . The baud participated in various annual activities including selling calendars in great hopes of some year buying new Lmiforms . They held their Spring and Christmas concerts and traveled to Washington Union for the Music Festival. But the highlight of the year was their trip to Berkeley that mixed business with pleasure . Patty Ellenberger had the honor of performing in the All State Band in Bakersfield, Ken Hurley performed with the Fresno-Madera honor band. Old 57 just wou1dn't go!
