The Pep Girls started the year off right by practicing three, and some- times four days a week during the summer months . By having two suc- cessful car washes, four girls were able to attend camp at the University of Santa Cruz . These girls brought back many new ideas for routines , plus an outstanding rating on their performances. Later in the year the Pep Girls also attended All Valley Pep Clinic at Fresno State College. They returned with an excellent in their perform- ance and a superior in spirit. Lettercarriers dna? Maj'0rettes G0tRained ut Rainy weather conditions only allowed the Lettercarriers and Maj orettes to display their talents twice at home football games this year, Of four home games they managed to per- form at Homecoming and at the final game of the season. They also went with the Band to Berkeley and participated in the Kerman Harvest Festival Parade. The Lettercarriers found a way to pay for their uniforms by having a bake sale. They played two roles by presenting the flags before the game as well as spelling out Kerman at half time . The Majorettes made money by selling programs at the World Softball Tournament during the summer . Debbie Botelho, Vicki Samarm Debra Kaseroff, Susan Buchnoff Elise Floyd and Geneive Madrid
