2,4 tu re Nu me The Future Nurses started the year with their annual food drive. The food was given to a needy family in the Kerman area. With the aid of their sponsor, Mrs. Palmer, they started their money-making project by selling First Aid Kits. Hopefully the proceeds will go to start an Ambulance Fund for Kerman. Future Nurses can truly say that they have fulfilled their pledge to aid people who are in need of help. The first social event of the year was an ice skating party. Afterwards everyone went to Mrs. Palmer's house for refreshments. Obbedjbr nions Future Homemakers started out the year with an initiation of new members. The new members were Hrst given a facial of mayonnaise and flour. They then bobbed for onions instead of apples. The initiates all came out green faced because the water was colored green. After all the fun it was down to work. Mrs. Slate, their sponsor, helped the members sell sachet balls and candy. A field trip was planned to some factory in the Fresno area. Mrs. Slate and MaryAnne Souza look for an interesting recipe.
